The IMMACULATE CONCEPTION of the Blessed Mother is celebrated this week by the whole Church. The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus, is most intimately involved in the life of all faithful Catholics. We depend upon her to assist us in filling up what is lack- ing in our own goodness and piety and warmth of devotion. She is our Mother, and she would not abandon us, no matter what our weakness and sinfulness might be.
This Feast is a beautiful entry into the Christmas mystery when we celebrate the Holy Day of Our Lady’s Immaculate Conception. We Catholics believe that Mary is unique in that she was never touched by any stain of sin – original or actual – from the very first moment of her conception.
Join us as we celebrate this Holy Day of Obligation on Tuesday, December 8th . Our Mass times are 9:00 am. and 5:30 pm.
