Men's SpiritualityWhat is the Men's Spirituality and Enrichment group?
Our Men's Spirituality and Enrichment Group offers an opportunity for men to gather, discuss, and examine our lives from the perspective of faith and our Catholic heritage.

The group meets for ninety minutes once a month, on the fourth Saturday at 9 am until 10:30 am.

We strive to reinforce Christian values in our home and share those values with the other men in the group. We are learning how to do this together and experiment with the best ways to do it as we move from one month to another.

What do we do?
The meetings are mostly informal. They have a little structure to help create a flow.

Opening Prayer: The men take turns selecting and offering an opening prayer each month.

Discussion: The heart of our meeting is sharing and comments volunteered by all present, relating to a prepared topic. We take turns volunteering to prepare talking points for the group to discuss, including what will help us live and share our Christian faith and values.

Concluding Prayer: We take time for prayers of petitions before the end of the meetings. Participants are encouraged to offer up any concerns which they may be carrying.

Why join the men's group?
By attending, we forge friendships with our fellow group members, have fun sharing our faith, and learn from one another how to apply the principles of our faith to be better husbands, fathers, sons, employees, and Christians. Some men say they have grown by this experience, which has helped them to form stronger and happier families and to cope better with the stresses in their daily lives.

If you would like support for your life of faith, and to lend your support to other men, why not come and participate in the discussions and share your valuable insights? Your view might help someone else. We welcome all men of all parishes and those of other denominations too. Coffee, donuts and bagels are available at 9 am. At 9:15 we begin with our opening prayer.

As iron sharpens iron, so man sharpens his fellow man.

Our Mission

We are a Catholic faith community blessed with the joy of God’s love. Together we share this love with all who hunger for God’s presence in their lives. We follow Christ who taught us to find God by giving our lives in service to others and gathering to celebrate a Eucharist that welcomes everyone. Join us on this journey!
